Discover the richness of the languages visible in landscapes across the UK, and immerse yourself in a vibrant celebration of languages. Engage with interactive displays, curated by secondary school students from the UK who all had shortlisted, runner-up or winning entries to our Languages Local to You competition this year.
‘The Languages Local to You’ competition encouraged all secondary school students from the UK to capture the presence of languages other than English in their local area, and provide a short caption about how the languages were used.
From languages indigenous to the UK, to community languages, this exhibition showcases the linguistic tapestry that makes our community unique. In connection with this exhibition there will be a panel discussion on 15 Nov. 2023.
